Many poets and artists speak of the woman’s body, as it is beautiful and also mysterious. I wanted to capture the female figure and call it the mystery of a body.
Adding light reveals the shadow of the mysteriousness of the woman’s body which is capable of many torments and profoundness. From the ability to bear life in her to the mere weakness it contains within. No man has ever, nor will any man be able to comprehend the meaning behind it.
All art pieces are made from reclaimed wood signifying rebirth and the possibility for hope in the future. The wood used in this piece was retrieved from the remaining parts of a wardrobe in the UK.
